"A thief may have entered through the doggie door of the third burglary sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Creekside Drive."

I don't even have a small cat door, for fear of wild animals entering my home. Once, I left my back door wide open right before dusk and was surprised by the rather loud crunching of cat kibble in my hallway. When I came around the corner to investigate, there was a VERY large raccoon helping himself to my kitty's chow!

Out he went with only a half full tummy of sneaked kibble.

This is getting too close for comfort. Here is an article I found that has good ideas for preventing burglaries, Web Link

And Palo Altans, how about we all install security cameras and catch these people? Or these raccoons who like the good vodka.

Obviously the perp is a petite, tipsy, Epicurious cook who dresses to impress.
