New opportunities await eight local teams this week

The 2013 CIF Northern California basketball playoffs will offer a number of opportunities for eight local teams that begin play this week in Round 2 of the postseason playoffs.

Chryst suffered an ankle injury in a first-round CCS loss to Mitty and will miss the rest of the season.
