Twenty-two authors explore the worlds of evil geniuses and mad scientists through stories published in the new book "The Mad Scientist's Guide to World Domination: Original Short Fiction for the Modern Evil Genius." Book editor John Joseph Adams will give a free talk at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Feb. 21, at Kepler's Books, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park.
[Web Link Theater: 'Spring Awakening']
Foothill Music Theatre begins performances of the hard-edged Broadway musical "Spring Awakening" tomorrow, Feb. 21, with the production running Thursday through Sunday, through March 10. The show is an adaptation of the 19th-century Frank Wedekind play about teens facing the darkness and joy of coming of age.
