Palo Alto parents named to site-selection panel

Eight Palo Alto parents and four school administrators have been named to a committee to advise the Palo Alto school district on a location for opening a 13th elementary school.

It seems like the most impacted grades are at the middle school, since there are multiple elementary schools with space in South Palo Alto.

Sharon Keplinger won't have any difficulty advocating for the Young 5's program, of which I am fully supportive. It seems like it's a conflict of interest to have her on the site selection panel, though.
