Stanford freshman Maggie Steffens, a 2012 Olympic gold medalist and Olympic Games MVP, has been named Best Female Water Polo Player of 2012 by the Federation Internationale De Natation (FINA).

Congratulations to Maggie and the entire women's olympic team. You've turned the nations attention to women's water polo. So many current and future water polo players owe you and the entire Olympic team a huge thank you for providing a positive image to this awesome sport.
