Flowers for Vets Program Highly Successful
Around Town, posted by Karen Froniewski, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Dec 30, 2012 at 8:47 am

Many thanks to our Vet friends who helped make the second annual Flowers for Vets program on December 16 amazingly successful. Thanks to Palo Alto online for helping to promote this event. The event was held at Nature's Alley florist in Midtown. Over $400 was collected to help cover the $3 cost for each arrangement. Over 30 volunteers made and delivered 120 flower arrangements, many hand created cards and holiday bags filled with assorted biscotti donated by La Biscotteria in Redwood City. Both the Palo Alto and Menlo Park VA hospitals were visited. Stop by Nature's Alley anytime after January 7th to see pictures taken during the event.
