[Web Link Photography: 'Impacted By Life']

Photographers Dan and Eric Meacham are exhibiting an eclectic selection of work covering subjects as diverse as Occupy Oakland, still life, landscapes and the Burning Man festival. The free show is up at Keeble & Shuchat Photography at 290 S. California Ave. in Palo Alto through Jan. 9.

[Web Link Theater: 'Big River']

Now in its closing week, TheatreWorks' production of the Huck Finn musical "Big River" has performances at 2 and 8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 27. The show runs through Dec. 30 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.

at least some events are going on. root on stanford at the rose parade and rose bowl. think up things to do and participate in winter sports. the rich are happy and the poor are miserable
