What kind of person is driving drunk at 8am on a Tuesday?
How about a name and mug shot?

Yes, as angry villagers we demand to see this person so we can mock their appearance and we need their name so we can perhaps exact our own punishment somehow.
Light your torches and grab your pitchforks!!!!

Shaming only works in Korea or other parts of Asia.

No one here cares about shaming their families. But it is an offense against society so I agree we should see a mug shot anyway. Not likely to make the alcoholic turn around his life, but still.

Hello Ha,

"Shaming only works in Korea or other parts of Asia."

About a month ago, a Cleveland gal in public carried a sign, "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk."

If what you said were ture, Cleveland would be part of Asia. :-)

Hello "Not getting",

I was referring to mug shot disclosure. No one here cares if their mug is in the press.

Sure, the Cleveland sign thingie is embarrassing for the gal. But how many judges use this type of public shaming? If so, we'd be seeing people standing all over the place, holding signs. I'm all for it!

Pitchforks, mugshots, Korea, Cleveland - you can't make this stuff up!

Shaming still works among the Mennonite Community and the Amish. Many communities in the Upper Midwest have a form of shaming.

Probably explains why there are no drunken Amish on Sand Hill at 7 am

If the horse is sober, can the guy on the reins get a DUI? Silliness aside, how about a future operator of a self-driving car?
