A portion of Sand Hill Road near Stanford University in Palo Alto was temporarily closed Tuesday morning after a DUI driver struck a fire hydrant that flooded the roadway, according to police. The road was reopened around 7 a.m., police said.

Yes, as angry villagers we demand to see this person so we can mock their appearance and we need their name so we can perhaps exact our own punishment somehow.

Shaming only works in Korea or other parts of Asia.
No one here cares about shaming their families. But it is an offense against society so I agree we should see a mug shot anyway. Not likely to make the alcoholic turn around his life, but still.

I was referring to mug shot disclosure. No one here cares if their mug is in the press.
Sure, the Cleveland sign thingie is embarrassing for the gal. But how many judges use this type of public shaming? If so, we'd be seeing people standing all over the place, holding signs. I'm all for it!
