Help Save a Life, Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive for Palo Alto Mom
Original post made by Melissa Baten Caswell on Dec 14, 2012
When: Tuesday, December 18, 2012, 2:00 pm-5:30 pm
Where: Palo Alto Unified School District Office
Dr. Nalini Ambady, a Palo Alto Mom and a Professor at Stanford University, is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant as a result of a relapse of her Leukemia.
Unfortunately, the pool of South Asians donors is relatively small making the likelihood of finding a match slim.
Please consider registering to become a possible donor that could save a life. Ypu could be the life saving match for Nalini or someone else battling Leukemia. Donor registration is quick and painless (just a swab on the inside of your cheek).
Can't make it to this event, but want to help? Go online to www.bethematch.org (use code Nalini)
