Multi-car crash snarls traffic on Highway 101

All lanes have reopened following a multi-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Look no further than the construction. It is so dangerous in the who area from Menlo Park to Moffit field. Absolutely no room for errors. Try to figure out what the lines are as you are close to moffit field going south with the the sun shining on old and new lines. No one knows where to go. Let's count how many accident have occurred here since construction started.

I agree - the merges especially are so dangerous. No way to see, and if a car is in that lane you are in trouble. I think something needs to be done about how unsafe this area is.

How many crashes have there been in the construction zone in just the past month? At least half a dozen. How many serious injuries? Someone screwed up when they designed this project.

Hmmmmmmmmmm......maybe people should slow down in construction zones? put their phones down and pay attention? Naaaaaahhhh.

Yes, drivers need to slow down and pay attention in construction zones. However, many do not and that puts others at risk.
