Alan Exelrod, Pao's attorney, in an interview Wednesday. "They told her not to come in and not to do any work. We believe this is in retaliation for the fact that Ellen filed a discrimination lawsuit against the firm."

Many people in this situation will play the race card or the sex card to deflect blame from actually harms minorities and women in high positions, and this game should not be played, because it isn't playing fair.

This kind of thing makes employers more and more cautious and touchy about hiring women and minorities to positions of power .
