Romney concedes Presidential debates to Obama

Original post made by willard on Sep 29, 2012

Romney's senior advisor released a memo this week saying that Romney expects to be clobbered in the Presidential debates. If you pity Romney, just don't watch. ABC News released the full text of the Romney memo on the debates: Web Link

Obama is a gifted speaker in a large setting, but not a good debater.

Romney should offer a $10,000 bet.

Anyway, this race is history, time to run up the score for the dems. They'll keep the Senate, pick up 15 in the House.

Can they run the score up enough to take back the House?

Forgot: before the righties come on and say that Romney is losing because he's a bad politician, that's not it!

Romney is losing so bad because right wing ideas are losers.

Americans like the safety net. Americans like everyone paying their fair share. Americans do not want troops attacking ANOTHER middle eastern country. Americans do not like a president to dismiss half the population, or even 47% of it. Americans want to vet their presidential candidates and their taxes the same way Romney vetted Ryan's 10 years of tax returns.

It's republican ideas that Americans reject, not Romney.

Clinton: the Republican argument against the President's re-election was pretty simple: we left him a total mess, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so fire him and put us back in

Rmoney has already given up. He put 40 million into his sampaign in 2008. Nothing into this caampaign.

He knew once he went from moderate to SEVERELY. Conservative, he was goping to llose. He's a smart enough guy not to throw his good money after his donors bad money.

Save it and put it in Taggs trust fund.

That may be a ploy to get lull Obama into a false sense of security and to drum up eyes for a debate where Romney finally intends to come out with some real suggestions for change.

Suggestions that might be too new to criticize or dismiss, but he needs something more than the idiotic Ryan budget of total austerity destruction of our society. When I hear Republicans speaking I just wonder why they hate America so much that they have been warring on the country for 40 years ... and the best answer I can come up with was this is a backlash from the South over civil rights.

I know that country accent and cowboy hat gets a lot of traction in America still, but the country needs to get over these people and move forward.

President Obama is a far superior debater, compared to Romney. He will easily sweep the debates. He will be our next President!

Yeah, I think Romney will come off weaker in the debates. That said, this reads like a deliberate leak to lower expectations regarding Romney. Ergo, anything that's better than disastrous will be touted as a "win" by Romney by the GOP.

But I don't think it's going to matter--Romney won't give a great performance--it's not in him--and a decent one won't be enough after his triple gaffe of the chair/Libya/37 percent.

Oops, 47 percent.

President Obama also told the essential truth about the recent attacks in the Middle East, including Libya. It was that disgusting anti-Muslim video. The rightwing wants us to believe that it was a terrorist, pre-planned assult. Susan Rice got it right, and now she is being attacked by the right wingnuts. President Obama will destroy Romney on this ridiculous charge, if the question is asked.
