Tree branch lands on car, blocks street

A massive limb from a Bradford pear tree crashed onto the roof of a silver Honda and blocked High Street near the intersection of Forest Avenue in Palo Alto at about 9:45 a.m. today.

Trees are drying out and limbs are falling. A huge limb from a cedar tree fell onto Charleston Court earlier this week. Today the whole tree is being removed.

Drive down Seale between Middlefield and Newell at your own peril and risk. Avoid that street if there is a wind above slight breeze.
