rather than fixing decaying streets and expediting traffic, palo Alto continues with "calming" and changing the city per the "planning "committee. these people are intellectually challenged and ignore the fact that poor planning, poor design, overbuilding and the desire to return to "horse and buggy"days serve no good purpose. change and growth will occur and good planning will make all the difference. we need leadership, not the same old group, whose agendas serve no one.

California Avenue re-design is turning into Palo Alto's HSR. Very few residents and voters want the changes being proposed. Meanwhile, the City Council is responding much like Jerry Brown with an attitude of: "you've got to have it" because we will be getting all this grant money, and somebody else will be paying for it.

Council, let it go, we like California Avenue the way it is.
