Do you mean University Avenue and Bryant Street (the burned Walgreen's building)? The city reports no sidewalk closures on Lytton.

Perhaps Ana is referring to the sidewalk on Lytton between Bryant and Florence. Looks like there's a big construction project happening there. It's worrisome that the city is not aware of this.

A 26,611-square-foot building will be constructed at 325 Lytton Ave. It will include some retail, offices, and residential on its fourth floor. The permit for construction was issued July 19. Larry Pearlin, the city's chief building official, had initially thought that there were no sidewalk closures on Lytton because Public Works, not his department, issues those permits.

So, it is in fact a big construction, and I am now worried that the sidewalk will be closed for a long time.

The shuttle stop over there is the one my mom uses when she goes pick up my young child from pre-school. And they just have to walk a bit to get to my home. Now I may need to have them go around the entire block, so they don't cross the street. This is sad!

How can I find out for how long will the sidewalk be closed.
