10 gallons of diesel is hardly significant. Even 100 gallons would hardly match the gallonage of bitumen sprayed onto blacktop paving, and yet it is by law treated as hazardous material subject to special treatment. How absolutely absurd. How horribly wasteful. A half barrel of sand is more than enough to cure the slipperiness that is the only real hazard.
