Sloppy and abusive prosecutions are the main reason that I am opposed to the death penalty. Anyone else surprised that the majority of the falsely convicted are minorities, even though they make up a minority of total convictions.
Does the 56% "official misconduct" mean they were framed by the cops and prosecutors (knowingly someone is innocent and arresting/prosecuting them anyway)?

Missing from this article, and others on this topic, is the basic arrest and demographic data for the US. This is easily located via Google, yet--this information has been purposefully suppressed by the media.

Wondering - does your post have anything at all to do with the article or are you just making a Tea Party racist rant?
Or maybe the article does answer your question. Minorities are much more likely to be framed by the cops for crimes they did not commit, thus boosting their arrest and conviction numbers.
