Killer Crosswalks

Original post made by qq on Jul 18, 2007

A parent and child were injured at the ECR and Ventura Ave crosswalk just before 8PM Wednesday evening.

The parent and child were taken to the trauma center at the Stanford ER. The parent's injuries were described as moderate. The extent of the child's injuries were unknown. The child was thrown 20 feet or so from the stroller.

I would assume that the low evening sun in the northbound driver's eyes on ECR probably contributed to this accident.

If the press is interested, I have a photos of the scene.

What a huge response! I was walking the dog and the amount of audio response was real evident. Sounds like both Middlefield & Arastadero went all out from both stations. Hope everyone recovers. God Bless. My dog was to busy playing with a Husky to do her usual response!
