Open Letter To the City Council, Redwood City

As a resident of Palo Alto, I will be directly impacted by any development on the bay; your Cargill project appears to me to be environmentally unsound and damaging to nesting birds including the rare snowy plovers which nest in the marshlands immediately to the south in Menlo Park and the clapper rails in the Palo Alto marshes by impacting the water levels including the flow of water south from Redwood City.

Please don't ask your citizens to vote on this: the builders will distort the process by spending a huge amount on misleading advertising and you will be abrogating your responsibility to do a complete and detailed environmental impact report.

When you destroy open space and marshlands, you destroy forever.

Please don't use the media to bulldoze the voters in order to bulldoze our Baylands.
