Free Lecture on Successful Aging
Around Town, posted by Cynthia Greaves, PAMF Public Affairs, a resident of the Old Palo Alto neighborhood, on Apr 3, 2012 at 3:51 pm

You are invited to the debut of a pioneering initiative for successful aging on Saturday, April 14, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

Successful aging is about much more than health care. It requires a supportive ecosystem of social connections and resources to assist in myriad daily-living activities. The Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Innovation Center is launching such a community ecosystem called linkAges with a kickoff community education and technology developer event.

The Saturday event will feature three nationally recognized dynamic speakers:

Todd Park, Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

Eric Dishman, Intel Fellow and Director of Health Innovation at Intel

Dr. Paul Tang, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the speakers will start promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Registration is open now and is required so reserve your seat soon. Register online: Web Link

Everyone is welcome – bring a friend!
