SPORTS: Jim Harbaugh named NFL Coach of the Year

Palo Alto High School grad and former Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers was named the 2011 Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year on Saturday night after leading the Niners to a turnaround season and into the NFC Championship game in only his first season as an NFL head coach. Fantastic! When did Coach Harbaugh attend Paly? Did his brother go there, too? Assuming he played football at Paly, how did the team do when he was on it?

Harbaugh played on the 1980 and '81 Paly football teams......the '80 team went 9-2......the '81 team was 5-4.....he graduated from Paly in 1982......John Harbaugh did not attend Paly

Did they take his poor behavior into consideration? I remember him back in the day - although older than me, he was a decent enough sort at the time - until he displayed his arrogance in memorable ways.
