The City auditors office has just released it's audit on our City libraries. The most damaging revelation is that our libraries security systems are often shut off because they are not designed to work very smoothly with the self-check-out machines. As a result books, CDs, DVDs, and even a lap top computer have gone missing. Can Palo Alto afford these losses and what should be done about it?
