Cal-Stanford volleyball showdown: No 1. vs. No. 2

There will be plenty at stake when the Stanford women's volleyball team travels to Berkeley for its Pac-10 opener against California on Tuesday. Not only are bragging rights on the line, but the No. 1 ranking in the nation. Cal is currently ranked first and Stanford is second.

Cal didn't end a 20 match losing streak to Stanford in 2008. It was 7. There was a 40 match losing streak that ended in 2003.
