Kathleen Hughes: Almost Losing the Love of Her Life

On Sept. 11, 2001, I received a wake up call from my mom, Joanne, in Pennsylvania. It was a little after 6 a.m. here in Palo Alto. She asked me where (my husband) Tony was.
