Tonight is 'Addison Night' at AT&T Park

Original post made on Aug 25, 2011

Tonight is "Addison School Night" at the San Francisco Giants game, at least unofficially. Addison Elementary School students -- about 120 of them -- will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the 7:15 p.m. start of the game against the Houston Astros.

I don't get it. Do we have to listen to the melody and harmony separately? Can't we hear it as we heard it on the radio this evening? It was awesome.

Bravo! They sounded great. I was so proud of them. Thank you to their teachers and everyone else who helped to make this possible!

Is there somewhere on line where we can watch/hear the performance? It was not televised! Bummer! Would love to see/hear it.
