The former Sun Microsystems building is being demolished to make way for the Taube-Koret Campus for Jewish Life and Bridge Housing projects at 901 San Antonio Road.

In its time, this building was a great place to work. The April fools jokes that took place plus the newcomers orientation. Fond memories.
Once Sun left, it was allowed to go to rack and ruin and became an eyesore. As many of the happy memories I have from there, I am now definitely pleased to see it go. It should have happened long ago.

The Sun building site is the Bridge housing site only.

I've written to the local air resources board, trying to find out what was released into the air when the SUN building was demolished. Also, how are neighbors notified about air quality? I haven't been able to find out anything yet. As work goes forward, is there a notification responsibility?

Same could be said for the 2 piles of fine debris at the end of Loma Verde and Bayshore. On windy days, you can see this dust fly off into the blue yonder. How long is it going to remain there undisturbed?
