Burmese icon to speak to local alliance

The Burmese American Women's Alliance (BAWA) holds an event every year in honor of Nobel Peace Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi's birthday, known also as Women of Burma Day. This year, however, features a first: contact from Suu Kyi herself.

Can't wait to attend this celebration for this incredibly heroic woman. To be able to have an address from her will be very exciting as most of us will never have a chance to be this close to her. Thanks to this wonderful organization for putting on this event. Their food, entertainment are sure to be phenomenal. For those of you who have never tried authentic Burmese cuisine this is your chance!
