Beware of misleading voter recommendations

A new and very deceptive flyer arrived in the mail today - the "California Voter Guide" - address Torrence, CA. Claims to be a "Voting Guide for Republicans'. It isn't. It advocates voting YES on Prop 20 and NO on Prop 27, just the opposite of all local newspapers and common sense. This is the Proposition that is favored by many Federal members of Congress to preserve some of the very odd-ball district boundary lines. In fact, many of these flyers are manipulative. Californians should start a movement to stop government-by-proposition. Even well educated voters can't figure out most of this, and many if not most rely on newspaper endorsements and mailed flyers with fancy names, and endorsements. California as a state has a 'literacy problem.' and with government-by-proposition, we have a very serious problem. Another reason California is in such a mess is the heart-string-tugging verbiage that gets our bleeding heart voters to approve bond issues we can't afford.
