yes on Local Proposition R will bankrup Palo Alto

Original post made by concern citizen, South of Midtown, on Oct 24, 2010

With all the Respect to the FireFighters, but I will vote NO on R. I know the firefighter also have their families to take care, and protect, but the way the City of Palo Alto is losing money, it will go bankrupt for sure in a near future. For my understanding the proposition will give permanent life employment for its beneficiaries, and that is against my own beliefs. I was hired and fired many times in my life and I am survived the private employment. I think it is time to governments to reduce their public local force instead of keeping hiring and cause us to pay for more tax.
but thats me, a drop in a bucket that will vote NO on Palo Alto proposition R.
