McNeal Wireless? Around Town, posted by Toady, a resident of the Old Palo Alto neighborhood, on Oct 8, 2010 at 7:50 am
Does anyone know what McNeal Wireless is doing in our neighborhoods? According to their website, they are contractors (a MWBE too, so someone is getting their lib points) for doing cellular wireless infrastructure.
It's just weird seeing them around, blocking lanes, and it was especially annoying when they blocked one lane of northbound Alma yesterday during evening rush hour.

I have seen these guys around a lot too. A couple of times they had an interesting device on top of a cherry picker, it it looked like they were physically measuring the height of the device, so maybe they were testing cell signal strength or something. Hopefully they will add some cell towers because there are a lot of dead spots on AT&T in midtown.

Just got a notice in the mail that the church at 1095 Channing Ave. (across the street from my house) wants to install a 50-ft cell phone tower (they want to make look like a tree).
I do NOT want a cell tower in a residential area, especially not near my home, or at a school.
Everywhere around the world families are suffering from different cancers caused by cell tower radiation. Google it for yourself.
