Baby getting gun licence makes mockery of gun control
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Resident, a resident of Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on May 16, 2007 at 9:28 am

The article explains it all. How can a baby getting a legitimate gun licence be tolerated? This just shows how bad the controls really are! Web Link

Agreed. This does indeed make a mockery of the intent of our laws. Tightening loopholes would be a great idea. I am stunned age limits aren't required. I never thought to ask.

Even alcohol and cigarettes have age limits.

It would be interesting to find out how many firearms are legally sold to applicants under age ..18 or 21.

I would also be interested to know how many gun deaths per year are from illegal firearms, and how many from legally owned arms.

Have my research cut out for me, unless someone else has this data handy?

Very interesting, as I think I remember hearing about an incident very recently somewhere in the bay area where a 4 year old just killed his father with the father's gun.

Does anyone know if there is an age limit attached to the California law?

Has Bubba Ludwig committed any crimes with his gun?
