Rep. Zoe Lofgren and her trix

Original post made by Samuel on Sep 24, 2010

Apparently, Rep. Lofgren thought that her surprise guest, today, at the congressional hearing on illegal workers, was a cute trick. She invited Steven Colbert, the comedien, as a lead witness. He spent a full day packing corn and picking beans in upstate New York. He became tired doing this, because he has never done manual labor, even for a full day, before in his life. He was SHOCKED!

A black woman on the panel insisted that E-Verify, the federal program instituted to verify if a worker is legal or illegal, be mandated for ALL employers in this country. This means both governemnet ond private employers, including outsourced contractors. This woman was interested in having black people getting jobs in the fields, based on a relatively high wage level. She stated that illegals are driving down wages for black people.

This a local Palo Alto isse, btw. Our parks are now being serviced by contractors who are NOT required to use E-Verify. PA elites are comfortably in denial about the hiring of illegals. After all, they clean their houses and nanny their kids.

When will be begin to insist that PA people, including the City government, be held criminally responsible for breaking the law?

Rep. Lofgren and her cronies made a mess today. What an embarrassing spectacle, simply disgusting that our money was wasted on a joke. There are serious issues at stake and this is what Democrats think-up.

What was over looked in this comic show was that our Justice Department is now telling us that civil rights are only for special people and not all Americans. This too is disgusting at the highest.

In November vote them all out!

Will Rogers once said, "When congress makes a joke it's the law, and when they make a law it's a joke."

Good one Walter!

I guess one of the good things about the huge mess we are in is that more and more Americans are developing a healthy distrust about anything Congress does or says, or in fact any politician.

Can only be good for us in the long run
