HP drops suit against ex-CEO Mark Hurd, won't block his move to Oracle

Smart move by HP--WSJ reports that HP BoD they are focusing on internal candidates as a replacement, while Hurd makes a sales pitch for Oracle today.

Investors like us care very much, we gained a lot by Hurds move to Oracle, but HP investors and employees lost many, many millions of dollars.
And that is bad for HP investors and employees who have stocks

Thank goodness that gold-digger is nowhere in the media. She's probably searching for a mansion after the payoff though.

Right. And Mr. Hurd will have a whole new crop of women to meet out of town.
And his friend, good ole boy Larry Ellison will be there to keep the cops away.
I'm sure she didn't sue because he just complimented her hairdo.
