Can anyone recommend a good tutor for high school level English?

I am wonder in what grade is your son. My son wants to tutor. He is a foothill college student, English is one of this favorites subjects and his major. He has done pretty well in English. Let me know the grade. Thanks.

I am a student at Gunn, and English is much easier in terms of difficulty than math or science.

I got straight A's so far(including honors). You may not need a tutor, unless you are not a native speaker or are mentally defunct.

English Ellie,

I think you meant mentally deficient rather than mentally defunct. The word defunct means "not existing anymore."

Although you find English easier than math and science, there are many students who have a different experience, especially with essay writing. As an English teacher, I can assure you that not all those needing an English tutor are English language learners or mentally deficient.
