Police vs Fire Charity Football Game @ Paly on July 10th

Original post made by Football Fan, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Jul 4, 2010

Please join us for the first annual “Clash of The Heroes” police vs. fire football game at Palo Alto High School on July 10th at 4 p.m. This is a charity event to benefit Project WeH.o.p.e., a non-profit that provides positive alternatives for families and youth. The admission is $10, and children under 12 are free. Police officers and firefighters from the area will face off battling it out for bragging rights, and to raise money for a good cause. Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
