In the major leagues, there is this new pticher for the Washington Nationals. Goood start with 14 SO's in his seven innings. Not a career yet.
There is an obscure aspect of the game to which I was reminded today. Baseball mud.
There is a mud that comes from somewhere in the Cheasapeke Bay area and is used to rub down new baseballs before a pitcher gets them. Every baseball all over the country.
