Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Walter_E_Wallis, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on May 7, 2010 at 5:26 am

As all my fans out there know, My son and I will be visiting Korea, I for the second time, to commemorate the war that started on my 18th birthday and is still raging.

Now I understand that the wheels may not fall off Palo Alto while I am away, but a recent checkout with my telephone provider taught me that commo back home might be as complicated as it was my first visit.

I am considering Skype, but since it is internet based, I need some feedback on wired or wifi connections in the Republic of Korea. Is it as prevalent as I am told? Are there fees and how much? Any trouble sending 5 to 10 megabyte files? Any censorship?

Any other advice other than how to find a restaurant that serves Chi?

Sorry Walter, all I can do is wish you a good trip. I know nothing else!
