MEASURE A BALLOTS DUE TODAY!
Schools & Kids, posted by A Mom, a member of the Juana Briones School community, on May 4, 2010 at 2:10 pm

Your voted ballot must be received by the Registrar of Voters by 8pm on Election Day, May 4, 2010, TODAY!

Measure A is a SPECIAL ELECTION, only Measure A is being decided.

You may DELIVER your voted ballot to the Registrar of Voters' Office "Drop Box" until 8pm election night located near the flagpole at 1555 Berger Drive, San Jose, CA 95112.

OR

You may DELIVER your voted ballot DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS ONLY at Vote by mail return locations: please visit www.sccvote.org for the most current information regarding drop-off locations. Some drop-off locations are much closer than San Jose.

This was a poorly run campaign; I hope they lose. There was too much whip-cracking to vote for this without enough information on the pros and cons. Voters should be allowed to digest and make their own informed decision instead of being blindly forced to vote for Measure A.

Hi Parent:

Can you describe the process by which you were "blindly forced to vote for Measure A"?

A Question,

Our elementary school sent out numerous emails (on the verge of harassment) with many forceful statements and capital letters for us to help Measure A pass or help by volunteering at the phone banks.
