7.2 MAG BAJA; FELT WIDE MORE QUAKES IN CA

The quake had a depth of 20.1 miles and struck at 3:40 p.m. The quake set high rise buildings in Riverside, Los Angeles and San Diego rocking back and forth. It also was felt in Palm Springs

The quake was felt as far north as Santa Barbara, USGS seismologist Susan Potter said. The earthquake was also felt in Phoenix and Las Vegas, according to reports.

"Caltech seismologists were still studying the details of the temblor, trying to connect it to a specific fault.
They said it's possible that the quake was so large that it ruptured all the way into California".

There have been a lot of smaller quakes in Sonoma County in the last 2 hours
