Palo Alto bicyclist killed on road where Caltrans refused to add bike lanes

The victim was hit by a passing truck. He has not been identified pending notification of his family. Rest in peace.

That's sad. Drivers really need to pay more attention while they drive. I also firmly believe that the requirements to obtain a drivers license should be more strict. It's too easy for a poor driver to get a license.

Just to clarify by "poor" I mean unskilled, not low income.

The article linked in the original post says the bicyclist was hit on Friday morning, December 18. The location is also given in the article.
