Watery sweep for Stanford women in Big Row

Fourth-ranked Stanford handed top-ranked Cal its first loss of the season in the first varsity eight event, 6:25.6-6:29.5, at The Big Row on Saturday. The Cardinal, with a team of Di Eaton, Adrienne Fritsch, Jenna Levy, Olympian Elle Logan, Grace Luczak, Lindsay Meyer, Erika Roddy, Julie Smith, and Michelle Vezie, took home the Lambert Cup for the first time since 2002 with its 3.9-second victory.
