Stanford women take over sole Pac-10 lead

The Stanford women's basketball team has not lost at home all season. If the third-ranked Cardinal can continue that trend through the final weekend of regular-season play, the outright Pac-10 championship would belong solely to Stanford. The Cardinal did its part, beating host USC, 85-74, Sunday afternoon while at the same time UCLA was taking care of the other part, upsetting fourth-ranked California, 71-56 across town.
