Parents - lets get ahead
Schools & Kids, posted by Aother Paly Parent, a member of the Palo Alto High School community, on Dec 1, 2006 at 2:42 pm

We parents need a place to share our information on how to keep ahead of what's going on in our teens' lives. The homework thread shows that just as soon as we think we have sorted out what the latest trend is, it changes. We should be able to keep each other updated on what is now cool and what isn't.

So FYI

MySpace is now used by middle schoolers. High Schoolers and college students use FaceBook. I have been given this information by my college student and highschooler and was sceptical until I watched the recent PAUSD Board Meeting. The Paly student member spoke about a survey he had made about the calendar. He was asked if he had got his information from walking around campus. He said that this was too time consuming and used FaceBook instead and got 150 replies very quickly!!!
