Cal has recruited regularly from California since 2000 and has beaten Stanford. It sounds like Stanford has finally begun to realize that recruiting only from out-of-state is short-sighted. Similarly, the Stanford's women's water polo team's practice of only recruiting from Southern California appears also to finally come to an end. That is good news for our local players.
