Palo Alto begins quest for a national youth football title

Youth football history can be made by the Palo Alto Knights' Varsity squad next week, which is making its sixth appearance in a national championship game. Palo Alto is 0-5 in its previous title games over the past nine years. That streak can come to an end when the Knights begin play for a title in the American Youth Football Under Armour National Championships in Orlando, Fla.

From a fan in Southern California, I wish the Knights the best and know that they will be bringing home a National Championship this time!!! Coach Piha, you are such a role model and inspiration for these young men. You have such a great gift for coaching these boys in football and for teaching them about teamwork, commitment, and life! Go Knights!
