Anyone see PAPD on El Carmelo St. this morning??

Original post made by JZ, Midtown, on Nov 19, 2008

I was driving to work at around 8:10AM this morning and spoted a police car and 4 police men (2 of them were wearing protective vests and had guns) and were standing outside of an apartment unit, near the street on the El Carmelo. Anyone know what this was about??

Probably searching the Ama St. apartment of the robbery suspect.

I didn't see this morning's incident, but did happen upon some activity at the entrance to JLS around 5pm yesterday. I saw plain-clothed persons with vests and badges and a number of unmarked idle vehicles blocking the driveway at E. Meadow. Curious.

Most likely this was a HIGH PRIORITY raid on a KNOWN J walkers house. Palo Alto will be forever safer without this self righteous walker wondering the streets

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
