Another auto theft

Original post made by Bill, Community Center, on Nov 10, 2008

Last Wednesday a car was stolen on Greenwood Avenue in the Community Center neighborhood...It's been recovered.....in East Palo Alto. Last Thursday-Friday four cars were burglarized on nearby Walter Hays. I support Chief Johnson and her efforts to protect the city, and I think that Mayor Klein and the new city manager were out of line not to support her. So she mis-spoke. They shot off their mouths. Klein does that all the time. Benest did too. Residents are worried that the Police Department are now so restricted that they are afraid to question persons who could be suspect.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
