PAUSD Spending
Schools & Kids, posted by Parent, a member of the Palo Alto High School community, on Oct 27, 2006 at 4:03 pm

My elementary child brought home a flyer today in his Friday folder about disaster preparedness. In the mail today I received two identical flyers addressed to the parents of my middle schooler and high schooler, mailed by first class stamps. While I have nothing against the flyer and what it says, I do feel that it is rather an expensive way to get the message across. If every child in our middle and high schools were mailed this flyer by first class stamp, we could say that the district spent about $1,000 on this. If this is the way the district spends its money, then we have even more problems than we already think.

We received two letters for our two high school students. It does seem a costly way to do this.
