Over two days and nobody has responded to this story. Yet shortly after the story comes out about the SJPD responding to the latest burglary by these two "very dangerous" criminals people respond about the overkill reponse by the police. I for one am glad the police do the job they do trying to second guess their professional response will only lead to more crime. I'm sure all those that responded would want as many officers as possible to respond if they were robbed at gunpoint as 20-25 store owners have been.

The amount of police officers was an overkill as they were not familiar with the area and did a very bad job of blocking traffic looking for men on foot... keywords being "on foot". Any EPAPD should know that blocking traffic into or out of EPA does not help looking for men on foot, as there are too many exits within the small city. Blocking cars from leaving the area is understandable, but preventing residents from entering the city who were trying to reach their loved ones and homes, not cool. Some may feel it was a great option but you probably was not the one trying to get home. "Dangerous men!!" The only ones afraid were the cops. I hope they are captured as I wouldn't want these negative actions (i.e. robbery at gun point)encouraged in the future!
