Menlo, Palo Alto girls shine again in volleyball tournament

Original post made on Sep 22, 2008

The Menlo and Palo Alto girls' volleyball teams were able to prove at least one thing during the annual Harbor Invitational on Saturday in Santa Cruz -- if the Knights are the No. 1 team in the local area, then the Vikings are likely No. 2. Both teams finally met for the first time this season, in the semifinals. Palo Alto grabbed an early lead but Menlo rallied for a 15-25, 25-21, 16-14 victory.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
